| Not sure what can be causing your in tank fighting going on, but looking at your aquarium info, if that is not updated and is indeed showing the ammonia, nitrite numbers listed its possible that they are showing the effects of an uncycled tank. |

| Had a red-tailed shark once, it became quite territorial, guess that's probably it - used to stay in one corner of the aquarium and chase anything that came near it. |

| yeah well the guppies have been bullying one of them for a while and he kept stepping in. the one that was being bullied seems to be fighting back now is it possible the others see him as a threat as there all males and hes the prettiest? i dont have a clue how fish think im just thinking about possible answers! |

| Well male/male agression for same species fish is possible. What's your ratio of male guppies to female? It should be around 1:3.
ADDED: Whoops, didn't read "they're all male"
You shouldn't keep so many males at a go, add some females and they'll pay more attention to the females then to each other Last edited by Llama; March 16th, 2009 at 10:37 AM.

| Yep, some fish will eat fry more readily, angelfish are famous at that, but livebearers eat their fry as well |

| lots of folks keep male only guppys in tanks, there is occasional spats a hierarchies are sorted out but not usually all out wars. It is a common stocking choice for people who want colourful tanks without having to find homes for fry explosions as they never, ever, all get eaten
At a guess I would say the earlier suggestions re water changes were nearer the mark and seeing that the agression has tempered since you did it it looks to be the answer.
you are aware that as you are cycling with fish in the tank you will have to do Daily water changes from here on until the cycle is completed?
You only need to change about 20-25% a day, add enough Prime or StressCoat+ to the water you change but enough of it to treat the whole tank daily |

| i keep 3 male guppies in my 10 gallon and they get along fine, but you may have some particularly aggressive guppies or one that just can't keep up with the rest.
as far as the cories and the RTS, the sharks are fairly aggressive, especially towards anything else on the bottom of the tank. |

| rts is showing no agression to the cory just the guppys the cory stays out of it. i am doing daily water changes around about 50 percent and adding stress coat+ each day. they seem to be eating off the gravel and plants alot more now and seem much happier. |
