Angel fish's feelers

I have 4 angel fish in a 55 gal. They all seem to get along. 2 of them have extremely long feelers with longer flowing fins.... while the other 2 are more compact in style... I have a question about the 2 with the long flowing fins, their feelers are frayed, not chewed or shortened irregularly, but more like frayed into strands at different parts of the length, .... I dont know if this is normal or not..... like I said the more compact angels feelers arent the same in structure.

Thanks all! yes I found out it is normal, I chatted to Dave (CoBetta) last night on facebook.... I couldnt find any info by googling "fraying feelers" haha!.... but now Im not concerned..... this particular angel is very long and flowy.... I have all these angels since babies and the sizof dimes, and now they are all going on 8-9 months old and have grown considerably.... so Id hate for something to go wrong now.

Frequently the long flowing pectoral fins will fray from dragging over the stuff in the tank.

This very good information to know. I've just recently noticed that one of my Angel's feeler looks the same way. Glad to know that it is nothing serious.

Just out of curiousity, would adding some Stress Coat/+ help or is it just just going to be a reoccuring thing?
