Hard to tell w/o full profile (side View) but seems female since golden edges of dorsal fin but not showing much of any distinct breeding colors from this angle.. Belly seems fuller than normal male.
Maybe young female and/or no mate?
Google for Kribs to use as reference since you can make better comparison.

the males are bigger than the females and have pointed fins. the females have a rounder stomach area that is very red in colour. there has been so much breeding in aquariums that the spot on the tail of the males are now not to be a sure sign.

Nice looking fish!
My kribs don't have any spots on there fins, also there is no red on either of their stomach areas.
Does this mean they're still young, a different variety, or am I doing something wrong?
Oh, I definately have one male and i female.
Thanks

my krib changes colors all the time at night when i turn off the lights it will turn all purple. its strange. but i think as they mature and adjust to the enviroment they will show their colors. one of the most pretty fish ive ever had.

Female, deffinatly!

2lucky - if your Kribs don't have pink/red areas on their bellies how can you be sure they are a male and female? They sound like 2 males. As far as I know, there are only 2 breeds of Krib: Albino and normal.
