Guppy dance and Color change?

My fancy guppy is changing colors on the tips of her fins and her lips are black! along with her fins near her gills! She totally healthy and fiesty.... Although she it totally trying to mate with the other guppy. I think it is hard to tell if this guppy is male because her tail is longer and her dorsel fin is long and wavey. She also Dances infront of the other guppy's and tried to chase them around the tank! they seem'd to be unsperated... are they mating?..

Fish change colour with age and also as their condition improves as usually fish are kept in less than ideal conditions at the fish shops. Fin discoloration can also be from ammonia poisoning, do you have a test kit? Because even the smallest, tiniest amount can be lethal to fish.

What is youe guppy ratio? 1 male, 2 females?
Usually females have very little color and are also bigger. Males are the smaller ones that have the intricate tails. Males also have a gonopodium, a breeding tube near the anal fins. Also females will have a black spot just under the tail on the back of the stomach.

Your ratio is ideally 1 male : 3 females

That way the guys don't need to compete much, and they don't pressure a particular female.
