Having this forum, to use as a tool to better educate me, boosts my confidence. Reading so many interesting articles and threads/posts is something I look forward to as often as I find time.

I recently had to make a change in our tank due to a disregard for a cardinal rule: Research before buy! I bought 2 beautiful "purple waffles" and after 1 week researched to find they are not submersible, they are a "bog" plant, hmmm I wonder if Petco knows,lol.

Anyway, thank you to all fishloreans, you are appreciated!

You are so right about that cardinal rule too. Everytime I buy without research it comes back to haunt me. I too bought a "bog" plant from petco.
Everyone here is great and one could read for ages without even posting.

Thanks for the compliments We have all been there at one time or another and in my case it was several times Purple waffle (isn't it pretty),mondo grass and acorus.
