Rummy nose not eating??

hi all,
I have recently noticed that one of my three rummy noses is not eating very well, and is quite a bit smaller than the others. when i feed my fish the rummy's swoop on the food except for this one who will hide away at the back of the tank. he will take a couple of tiny bits which pass him but sometimes he just spits them out again. I feed them vegie flakes and a tropical fish food flake. im not sure why he isn't eating and i think it's body size has to do with it.
hope someone can help me out here
cheers!

Hi Langy
Being the smallest one in the group he is at the low end of the pecking order and guess he knows it. Hopefully if you spread the food over a wider area some will end up falling to the gravel where he will be able to find it.
best of luck with the little one...

he also may not feel as secure because tetras really prefer to be in groups of six. in your 10 gallon i wouldn't suggest putting any more fish in there since you're a bit overstocked already, but if you look into getting another tank it's something to consider.
