Something strange around my aquarium

NO IT'S NOT ME! LOL.

OK I did it! As you can see in my profile I already have enough fish in my tank right 30/60 well now its 31/60 and while I feel guilty, Its probubly not my only worry. So use me as an example and go ahead and be objective and tell me for the all other beginners why this situation cannot be permanent. Don't worry I wont argue or rebuff because I know your right. Besides everyone else reading it will benefit and it will provide me great excuses to give my wife great reasons why I must get a bigger tank so don't leave that part out, please!

What do you think? I call it Nessie. Dose she fit the bill? The community really took to her first toward her in mass then away at rapid speed LOL.

At the LFS they were all lethargic and was told that's the way they are and very docile. So when I got her home and acclimated to pH/Temp I was shocked when 15 minutes later in the tank she was digging. I know I should have quarantined her but they all looked so good at the LFS and I turned on my sterilizer. At first I thought he was having convulsions because of the 7 PH. But se was digging his fins backwards and scooping up sand and moving it, trying to make a hide but hitting glass bottom so I took some ornamental rocks and built a cave but the frog and betta decided out of the blue not to be shy and took up residence.Click the image to open in full size.
Oh in case your wondering what that white chalky line at the bottom of the outside aquarium glass, just atop the lower frame is water spot build up or calcium. If that is an indicator of brackishness. I still need to pick up a hydrometer to check but you would never guess by the way the fish act. They are always playful and begging for food against the glass, or in agony Nah!.

I just need one official comment highly recommending a bigger tank that I can cut from the rest of the posts LOL, to soften the blow. You can keep the change. Maybe I can switch tanks (the 60 for 300) when the wife goes to LA and when she returns not say anything LOL and have your recommendation just in case.
I have been wanting one of these Gobi's since I got my tank but could never find a good specimen and I just had to buy this one for $7.29 which is probably too much in some parts but I like it and will put it in my new tank if I ever get up the nerve to buy and hide it in my room LOL.

it is my very humble opinion that you are going to need a much larger tank for that fish.

Thanks my friend, Ill be sure to include the Fish mentor title with all the stars, that should help LOL. I'm seriously thinking about building one just with one side front viewing to save on money on the 1/2 inch glass and keep it light the rest wood. I mean how hard can it be, basically a shipping crate with one sided glass. But Ill use drawings even if it means less gallons like 260 exc.
