I'd say around 7-8. Don't want to push the stock levels too much & throw yourself into a mini-cycle. That wouldn't be good for anyone.

I'd say it also depends on the turn over time. How long do you plan on keeping them in there? But I'd agree with Amanda, I wouldn't put more than 8 in there at a time.

i'd also consider breeding them yourself if you havent already, lots of times feeders at the LFS will have all kinds of diseases that will be passed on to your fish

yeah but i would need a huge tank for just feeder minnows. the feeder minnows would probably be in the 10 gal for about a week so most diseases would show up by then... right?

hmm, hopefully. i've never used feeder fish personally so i dont know, but i think the recommendation is QT for a month. i could be wrong though

yeah. i get them from the bait shop instead of the lfs so i think they are of better quality.
