molly really not looking well.

one of my female creamsicle mollies looks like she is in really bad shape and i don't know what to do to help.
it looks as if she's pregnant because she has a really swollen belly and she has had no problems up until today.
but since this morning she has been not swimming very well and has been laying in the plants i have in my tank. and because she is so big, it looks like her scales are not flush with the rest of her body, it's like they are sticking out.
i'm not sure if she is just really pregnant and she's having a hard time because she has a lot of fry or if there is something else wrong with her.
none of the other fish in my tank have any problems, so it seems to me that it's not some sort of disease, and all of the levels of ammonia, nitrite, nitrate, pH, etc. are good so i'm just really not sure what's happening.
i put her in a breeding net so she doesn't have to swim around too much and other fish don't bother her.
i'm just concerned and don't know what do it.. help anyone?

i really can't get a good picture of her because my camera sucks, but she pretty much looks exactly like the pictures of the fish that have drospy.
from those articles it seems as if there really isn't too much i can do for her, is there?

Hi, I'm sorry your fish is sick...

I'm a newby also, but the only thing I have to tell you is not to give up on your fish!
I would put my fish in a quarantine tank and I would try to treat it with medication before I let her/him die. To me I always think there is a possibility that I'm wrong about the diagnosis, or sometimes I believe that miracles can sometimes happen.
I at least would medicate the water with something like Kanaplex, which is a medication for bacterial and fungal infections that the fish absorves through the skin.

But as I said, that's just my humbled opinion...I hope your fish survives, I know how it feels when they get sick usually because the water parameters are not good...

Good Luck,

Mel
