Betta's like a filtered, heated 5-gallon tank if possable and you will see a big difference in your betta, they like brine-shrimp, blood-worms, and pellets-hakari if possible.i feed mine 2-times for the day and 1-day a week they get pea's[for constipation] and some people fast them for 1-day a week.You can also use Prime or stress-coat+ for your water conditioner as it will detoxify
ammonia until you are cycled, and 50% water changes until your tank cycles. You will find info on the cycling on the home page-please read as there is a lot of good info. Good Luck with your new betta and congrats.bella
