The tank is a Marina Betta Kit and i only have 1 Betta, the temperature is not to cold and not to warm in the middle.. but i will be buyinh a thermometer tomorrow. If there is anything i should i know about the betta post! even if i didnt ask:P Just post hehe.. I am pretty new to this.. Thnx.

welcome to fishlore!!! heres a great link for you on betta care Welcome and Betta Care Guide - Please Read First!!! but I woudnt use anymore salt on his tank ..

biggest things are a tank thats at least 2.5 gals, heated, and filtered....they love all kinds of different foods like pellets, bloodworms, brine shrimp are just a few....getting us some pics would be great!!

Betta's like a filtered, heated 5-gallon tank if possable and you will see a big difference in your betta, they like brine-shrimp, blood-worms, and pellets-hakari if possible.i feed mine 2-times for the day and 1-day a week they get pea's[for constipation] and some people fast them for 1-day a week. You can also use Prime or stress-coat+ for your water conditioner as it will detoxify ammonia until you are cycled, and 50% water changes until your tank cycles. You will find info on the cycling on the home page-please read as there is a lot of good info. Good Luck with your new betta and congrats.bella

everyone else has given great advice, and i completely agree. a filtered, heated 2.5 or 5 (preferably 5 but I have two in 2.5s that are doing well) gallon tank would definitely help his colors come out more. you'd be so surprised how well they flourish when kept in the proper conditions

I kept my betta in a tank just like yours and it lived for a LONG time! I would feed it normal betta food. Good Luck
