Nitrites!!!

i am sorta new to fish and need some advice on what is the best way to get rid of nitrites

Water changes will get nitrites down. In a cycled tank benefical bacteria take care of them.

There probably is, but if you want your nitrogen cycle to complete "unimpaired", I wouldn't use any of them. Since your info says you don't have any fishies in your tank, I'd just wait for the nitrafying bacteria to kick in and take care of things (wouldn't even do a water change).

prime and amquel help lower them but once your cycled you shouldnt have any nittites

Ohy, yes, my bad... You can add Prime or Stress Coat + to detox the ammonia (they may do the nitrite too), but still make it available for bacteria.

Hi: i have heard that live plants will help with the nitrite as well hope this helps you bella
