cloudy water after clean

Hello!
I have a question that I hope you can answer.
I have had my 20 gal for about a year and a half now. I really haven't had problems with it at all, until I moved.
When I moved in August I have noticed (after the original cycle which only took 4 days) that every time I top up or clean the water it gets cloudy the next day.
Last night I just put in 2.5 gals of treated tap water treated with water treatment and I always add in a bit of bacteria for good measure. It was clear for the whole evening, but then when I woke up this morning it was cloudy again.
The test kit says the water both from the tap and in the tank are sitting at "normal" levels (yes, I use a dropper/chemical test kit).
No new anything added since the move, the tank is exactly the same as it was including still using the same bottles of water treatment and bacteria.
Water temperature is around 79F
It always lasts for about a day-day and a half and then disappears, but I can't understand what could be making my water cloudy.

That's a tuff one, since you are doing everything the same as before. The only thing that comes to mind is maybe the location of the tank is getting more or less light then it was in it's old location.

I use the petsmart brand at the moment, but again, did not have this problem before the move and was using the same chemicals at the same amounts from the same bottles.
I put a bunch of bacteria in it and also kept the very well used filter + about a gallon of the water and did not wash the gravel+plants. Sorta irrelevant though, because that was months ago and this is a reaction directly related to toping up or cleaning the tank (no matter how little). The cloud is gone now, this time.

Bacterial Blossom - Often cloudy water doesn't appear the instant an aquarium is set up. Instead it appears days, weeks, or even months later. In these cases the cause is usually due to bacterial bloom. As the new aquarium goes through the initial break in cycle, it is not unusual for the water to become cloudy, or at least a little hazy. It will take several weeks to several months to establish bacterial colonies that are able to clear wastes from the water. Over time that cloudiness will resolve itself.

Decaying plants or excess food that remains uneaten can also cause the milky water seen in bacterial bloom. Regardless of the cause, don't panic over bacterial blooms. Keeping the aquarium very clean by removing debris such as decaying plants and uneaten food, vacuuming the gravel regularly, and performing partial water changes, will quickly resolve most cases of bacterial bloom. Cut back feeding to every second or third day, which will cut down on excess food decay.
