Help!! PH problem...

ok so i have a 20 gallon that has been set up for about 8 weeks. The water was alittle cloudy and i tryed changing the water and waiting a couple of days (ammonia lv was at 0) still cloudy, so i bought this stuff called Water Clear made by jungle, boy was that a big mistake. My water is clear but it changed my pH lv, my kit only reads to 6.0 and ive added PH up and did a 25% water change and the PH lv is still at 6.0. I dont know what to do anymore, I've had two fish die on me since i put that water clear stuff in and i cant get my PH to go up at all, I put that stuff in almost a week ago, please help what should I do?

The fish probably died because the ph level CHANGED, not because it's at 6. Most fish will do fine in ph anywhere from 6-8, what them don't like is when the ph level changes dramactically. I'd just leave it at 6 and do regular water changes. This should gradually return the tanks ph to whatever it was origianally.

How many of each fish in tank ? What where water parameters ? How do you test for Ammonia ? How do you add PH ? What do you put in new water when you make change ?

Yah! Those coagulants (water clarifiers) will always drop the pH. Rather than trying to add pH up to tank, how about boost the pH of the new water for WC. As far as cloudiness, as long as Ammo, nitrite are Zero, should improve w/i short time all by itself.
Provided Ammo, nitrite are OK, could change the filter media and add fresh carbon which will help you clearing of water. Besides all the particles (coagulated) are on the filter media and should remove before they breake down again. what ever you do , do not boost up ph too fast either.
In case ammo is present, DO NOT raise ph until ammo issue is resolved ( by partial water changes).

In the 20 gallon I have 2 black skirt tetras, 2 gold barbs, 1 sunset platy (the male died recently from the Ph change) 5 guppys and a 1 1/2 in pleco. In the 10 gallon I have a snail and about 12-14 baby guppies, 4 are about 3 weeks old and the rest are a little under a week old. The ammonia and nitirtes are at 0. I did a 50% water change in both tanks and its still at 6 ph. My tap waters ph is 7.8. I put some tap water in a little bucket and threw in a little peice of the water clear and yes i did drop my ph so i know that that is what did it.
