fish food life

hey

i was wondering how long you can use food for before it looses its nutritional value for the fish...i know if you freeze it it lasts longer, is this even true of flake? thanks

I think that some dont have an expiration date. What I have found is that when the flakes "get soft" and arent crispy anymore is when they arent good. The fish will let you know as well, they will not be very happy eating food that has gone bad.

I like to eat them and see if they are stale or not, so Tom, that's the best way.
