Are toxic plants fine with fishes?

I've got a Devil's Ivy. But it is suppose to be toxic if eaten, by humans, and will cause diareah. I don't know if this will be true with tropical fishes and plecos.

I have harlequins, cardinals, bristlenose pleco, rainbowshark.

I was thinking that the bristlenose might try eating it, but wouldn't it taste the bad taste of it and then stop eating it?

thank you

P.S.- I know its not a true aquatic plant, but I already have 1 submerged in a 10 gallon and its fine. But its with goldfish and they don't eat them so yea....

- devil's ivy is also known as Money Plant, Pothos, Silver Vine
