Should I choose Glowlight Tetras or Cardinal/Neon Tetras?

50 gal
- 10 harlequin rasbora
- 1 male bristle nose 6"
- heavily planted, many rocks, wood, decor

Can't decide on 6 glowlight tetras or 6 cardinal/neon tetras.

If you guys think cardinal/neon tetras would look better in this tank, I may get neon or cardinal depending on my decision.

I was thinking maybe i should get a group of cardinal/neon tetras, since the harlequin and bristlenose are tan colours, so maybe the cardinal would add more colour than the glowlight would.

Can you experience fish keepers help me decide whether a group of glowlight tetras would look nicer in this tank or a group of cardinal/neon tetras.

Thank you

neons and cardinals if you're looking for color is the best way to go

Actually I'm more of a danio person. Tetras just look weird to me.

I suggest Purple passion Danios!

But Cardinals would look nice I guess....

go with half cardinals half glowlight. my glowlights are more active than my cardinals, but the cardinals stand out alot in any tank.

Cardinals will be more expensive then Neons, although they are two times more bright and colorful. they are also resistant to NTD, but don't quote me on this.

That is correct, cardinals are resistant to NTD. If you do not have a q-tank I would certainly suggest the cardinals as other species of fish are susceptible to NTD. NTD was so named because the disease was originally discovered in neons.
