definitely a gravel vacuum as robz said.
buckets (that have never seen soap) for transporting water back and forth.
a fish net
and depending on which de-chlorinator you got, i'd recommend prime, if you got stress coat that doesn't detoxify ammonia, only stress coat + does.

oh, how could i forget this! medications! some people think that they'll buy them if their fish gets sick, but i would definitely look into some basic medications that treat very common fish ailments, ICH, fungus, finrot, etc. often times, when you really need them you cant get to the pet store or you're on a wild goose chase around town to try and find them!

You may also want to check to see if the fish you want to get are compatible with each other. If you look them up on a search engine, a lot of sites give detailed descriptions on how to care for each one and whether they are aggressive or not. Generally people try to follow the 1-inch-of-fish-per gallon of water rule to stabilize the ecosystem of the tank.

Oh sorry. I replied too slowly.

Not sure what a filter starter is and why you would need one.

Other than that and the other good suggestions from the above posters you sound good to go.

EDIT: filter starter is basicly the bacteria that will be produced eventually... in a bottle, it has been recomended in many books and websites.

May I ask what brand? Not all filter starters are equal

Unless you have Tetra SafeStart, I would suggest staying away from any "filter starter". Most products introduce non-sustainable bacteria. Meaning you have to keep adding them for the life of your aquarium.

OK so it is Tetra Safe Start. Just please be advised that TSS does not “instantly” cycle your tank. In fact even the instructions indicate that it will take about 10 days for the readings to stabilize. TSS does do a good job in reducing the toxin exposure to your fish. With this in mind consider starting with very hardy fish. Sensitive fish such as neons may not survive the cycle even with TSS.

Are you doing a fishless cycle? I think everybody on this site will recommend doing it this way.

If yes then you will need to get down to Boots chemist and buy a bottle of household ammonia. Its only £1.50 odd.
