Will a redtail shark eat britlenose catfishes?

First off, I'd like to know if britlenoses can be kept in pairs or more.

If yes, then I'll get 2 of them. I'm getting the kind that grows up to 6 inches only.

I have a 50 gallon.

And I'm also interested in maybe adding a redtail shark in it too.

But since they both dwell near the bottom, I want to know if the redtail shark will eat or attack the britlenose catfishes.

There are also, neon tetras, glowlight tetras, rummynose and britlenose in the tank.

I've heard that redtail sharks may eat neon tetras, but they don't usually right? only rarely right?

Thank you.

Yes, you can keep BN Plecos in pairs. And no a RTS won't eat a BN. Whether or not it'll attack a BN depends on the RTS in question. I'd personally say that a RTS would be fine in a 50gal.

My redtail spends most of the time in mid tank area, not often on the bottom at all, he doesnt harrass any of my BN plecs either

A full grown RTS may eat neons, but i've had no issues with previous owned RTS
