seriously....!!

Where do fish go when they "disappear"!!!??
I have been gone for a couple of days and one of my baby mollies ( who was about an inch long) is completely gone! I have moved everything and can't find it. This is the second fish I have had disappear ( the other was a neon tetra)...my filter is the heater/combo and the slots look small so not sure if it got sucked up in there, but it is such a mystery!!!!!!

If it died the other fish could've eaten it

They die and the other fish eat them and their bodys break up very quickly, especially if they're small fish like tetras or baby mollys

if you have a gravel substrate you should check in there, i have had a little guppy die and he ended up half burried. the most likely thing is one of your mollies ate them after they died

I had some disappearing cardinal tetras once. I thought the other fish were eating them, and a couple days later was vacuuming the gravel and found that the current caused by my filter pushed them all up under a sunken ship decoration. They were REALLY nasty by then. Another one was stuck on the filter intake, but on the backside of it, so it wasn't easily visible until i was looking from an unusual angle.
