Mystery Snail. (thinking 'bout getting) Advice

Can I Keep a mystery snail ina 20 gallon with three platys one swordtail, 4 cherry barbs, three cories, and a dwarf gourami??

Currently your stocking is:

3 platys = 6 inches
Swordtail = 4 inches
4 cherry barbs = 8 inches
3 cories = 6 inches
Dwarf Gurami = 2 inches

That gives you a total of 26 inches of fish, which is a little overstocked, but certainly manageable with some extra filtration and water changes. Snails have a pretty big bio-load, so I wouldn't really suggest adding one since you're already overstocked.

i have a tetra whisper power filter 20 and i do a 25 to 30% water change every week is that enough to maintain the overstock (no sanil now im not asaying with the snail im saying with what i got now)

GGirl makes a good point. Also, some platy's/swordtails can be overly curious and pick at the snail, our Leo did that a lot. Lots of medicines (particularly coppersafe - copper is intensely lethal to snails) are harmful to snails, so if you get a snail be sure to check all your meds before using them.
