First of all a Happy New Year To All lol and all the best for 2009.Well, i bought another puffer yesterday, and unfortunately i lost him when he was put into his tank- i think he was in the inclosurer too long and maybe the shock of good water and space killed him, but he did hang on until 4-45 am this morning and coul d not fight anymore.I should have bought him when i got my other one, as that extra week probabely did him more harm. He was not at all like my Puffy, as he was very listless and when they took him out they were rough on him, and i think poor little guy was very, very, stressed right from that point. well at least he got a good meal and some warm, clean, cycled water lol but, i feel very bad.;-i should have bought him when i got Puffy, and he might have had a chance lol. Yes, Pink; i was wishing i could of got you at 2-am lol there was something terribly wrong with this one-not active when i got him and not interested like puffy-he is a going concern lol but poor little guy fought hard. bella

Well, sometimes there's nothing you can do... getting caught and shipped is not a very fun process for the puffers. I'm always careful when buying them just for this reason. If one looks a bit unhealthy, he's probably so stressed that moving him home will probably just finish the job. Poor thing.

Yes, Pink; i think that was the case and he was very frightened, not at all like Puffy, very outgoing and lively and good colour-i new better buying him lol but you know, you always figure you can help them lol. bella
