I had a pleco, small until he got HUGE! He was so beautiful. He started harassing my fish. They add hugely to the bioload. I would say keep 2 rams and give away your pleco until you get your bigger tank in the Spring. Honestly the common plecos grow very fast.

it depends on the type of pleco, common plecos can get to 18 inches, while some only get to around 3 or 4, so i would say you may just be able to get away with a young, smaller pleco with regular water changes and a good filter untill spring but you would definately need to get a bigger tank

as for the bolivian Rams you should only have 2 as the pleco will take up alot of the bioload

That's true, I've a small pleco that I found. He's only about 2.5 and will stay that way. Wish I could remember what type he is. But most people are sold the common ones. They cause problems down the road if not given the right size tanks.

in a 10 gal tank id say no unless you do DAILY water changes ...its not his size you have to worry about as they grow slow but his waste will knock the water parims all outta wack in a 10 gal...

I wouldnt advise a pleco or 3 rams in a 10G, if you got 2 male rams amongst the three the fighting would be endless because of the small territory and a pleco just kicks out so much waste.
