i have 4 gouramis, 2 blue & 2 gold that are cycling the tank now with about 2 more weeks to go. ive been slaving over the comp to figure out what i want to do with my 55g tank. what kind of schooling fish? catfish? eel or no eel? but i think ive finally come to the conclusion of getting a Crayfish and shrimp.
i kno i cant have small fish with having the crayfish but what about loach's? or a ropefish? even corys? and a pleco would be safe right?
let me kno what yall think.. any opinion is better than none.

i have heard a crayfish will eat anything it can get its claws on. even fish that are 3 or 4 inches bigger.

I found out the hard way and a rather expensive meal for my loaches.
I bought 5 amano shrimp. I think I've got one left. There have been nightly binges and I'm blaming the loaches.

Definately get a Pleco. But for a 55g get one that doesn't grow larger than 5-6" Bristlenose I think is one.
