i just got some fresh water plants and i just remembered that my tank hasnt cycled! (getting it set up today) can plants go in an uncycled tank? please help so my plants arent stuck in a plastic bag for too long!

I don't know much about live plants, so I'm sure others will chime in here.
You can add the plants. They won't get hurt by the cycle.
They help decrease nitrates, so your nitrate reading will probably be low.

they are great in keeping parameters in check, no they won't get hurt by the cycle, if anything there's some BB (beneficial bacteria) on them from the cycled aquarium they were in. good luck!
