Yet 1 more cycle question

I have .25 ammonia and verything else is at 0. So on with water changes and Prime. Now I just started to use prime yesterday I am not sure how much prime to put in. I have a 10 gallon tank. Also do you still need to use another water conditioner or slime coat. Hopefully with the prime I will get this cycle complete.

Prime is a water conditioner so you don't have to use another one.
It won't help cycle your tank, what Prime does is detoxify the ammonia for 24hrs between water changes, making it safer for your fish.
Check the diretions on the bottle. It tells you how much to add if you have ammonia.

Tina, one capful (5 mls) of Prime treats 50 gallons so it won't take much for your 10 gallon tank. I also use Tetra Aqua Safe, just because I use well water and this said something about removing any heavy metals in the water.

Prime also removes heavy metals.

As Lucy said, prime only protects your fish from the effects of cycling, and conditions water (removing heavy metals, chlorine, chloramines...) but it will not cycle your tank. From your readings it seems that you are just at the begining of your cycle.

Bear in mind that once you start getting nitrite readings you have to add more prime than needed to neutralize it for 24hrs. (it says in the bottle)

2 drops per 4L (1 US gallon). So if you are doing 50% water change (5 gallons) it would be 10 drops.

Should I use a med dropper for the drops. I think I probably put in to much will it hurt any thing?

More is better then less. If you add too much don't worry.
