Guppy tank on hold

Ok, so I set the guppy tank a few weeks ago, got it cycled and just fed the tank to keep the cycle going. Had not bought any new fishies to put in it, A. Because I was way to busy with Christmas, and B. 'Cause this was actually a project for my 17 yr old and I to make lovely together...and I wanted her to be available to be with me to pick pretty guppies. We were gonna go together after the holiday things settled down so we could browse, and not be rushed. The guppy tank split at the bottom seam Christmas Eve, thankfully it was only 10 gals this time instead of the 25 gal from the last disaster. It was still a royal pain in the hind keester to get cleaned up on Christmas Eve. The only thing that was in the tank was "Turnip" the snail. He just turned up in the tank a few days after I had it set up, guess he was smuggled in with some of the cycled gravel I used. Yes, I saved the poor snail, I'm such a sap.
