Hello and Welcome

Can you answer a few questions for me:-

1) The oscar and the betta are not in the same tank right
2) How big is the oscar tank (please beware that if its a small oscar they do grow large and eat anything that fit in there mouth). ** 5g is too small for a oscar

Also you wont be able to breed an oscar with a betta sorry.

LOL Mike,

That's how I read it too. But then I shook my head and thought, “No, that can’t be right!”

I thought maybe I’d had too much Christmas cheer. Either way I can’t wait for the answer.

Thanks for clearing that up for us. I was sure it had to make more sense then that. I guess maybe I did have too much Christmas cheer.

Make note to self… When a member is trying to mate an oscar and a betta in a 5 gallon tank it’s time to put the drink down.

Merry Christmas and congratulations on your additions.

I'm afraid you may end up with a dead betta if you keep both in one tank.

Breeding bettas is not like breeding guppies, but is rather complicated.

And the confusion continues... I’m almost positive that the bettas are in two different 5 gallon tanks.
