Hello All,

Just wondering what shape of tank would be best?.

Option 1) Corner Tank
Option 2) Rectangular

Stocking: Cichlids

corner tanks dont offer alot of swimming space...most of the time they are taller than longer..what kind of cichlids will make a difference also

both tanks are around 185G, in regards to which type of Cichlids im not sure, im looking at the different types and learning about them as i type this message.

yeah they will be very happy, since it looks to me like it has lots of surface arwa it should be fine for some cichlids, what kind african or new worlds?

Rectangular tanks give you a lot more room to work with on top for whatever reasons, equipment, give you room for water changes/cleaning, whatever... Its nice to have a large opening on the top IMO. Corner tanks do save a lot of space in your home though, but less horizontal swimming room for your fishies. That corner tank seems very wide though, it looks like its somewhere in between a corner and rectangular tank...I like it!

I say grab that corner tank... But whatever tank you get, take care of it, and you will love it.
