In what order should I add my fish?

Here's what Ill be getting;

School of Zebra Danios
School of Cory cats
School of Tetras(Not sure on type but on the small side)
3 dwarf Garomies(1male 3 females)
4 YoYo Loach

Ill be adding a new group about every 3-4 weeks assuming everything is going well.

Thank you!

I would do the corys, danios, tetras, loaches, then gourami's last...

Question, Shawnie... Is there a reason to do the corys first? I usually see them listed as one of the last fish to go in so they're in an entirely stable system.

I understand why the gourami should go in absolute last (potential aggression issues), but I would think danios, tetras, yoyos, corys, (those two could be switched around) gourami. Since danios are the hardiest of the fish, I'd want them to be the first. Even with a cycled tank, there's still bound to be a bit of a fluctuation in water quality.

I'd add the danios first. They are the hardiest of the bunch and they will serve as dither fish for all the other additions.

I believe dither fish are fish used to calm down new arrivals who might be nervous and stressed from their journey and from being in a new environment. Seeing other fish swimming around and doing normal things help them to adjust to their surroundings.

The tank would already be cycled when the fish are added, but danios are good first fish because they can handle fluctuations better than others.

Minnow is correct on the dither fish.
The more timid species of fish will often consider a lack of other small fish swimming around to be a bad thing, suggesting that there's a predator that they haven't noticed. It's an excellent survival trait, but it can leave our aquaria looking very borning. In come the dither fish, which are usually fish that aren't quite as timid, and so swim around the aquaria, thus telling the other fish that it's safe.
