Feeding BristleNose

What should i feed this little guy i don't want to run the risk of assuming he is eating flakes, is a sliced cucumber good? or is there something better.

Sliced Cucumber, zucchini, algae wafers, They need 90%vegetable matter/10% protein. So about once a week throw him a shrimp pellet or something similar. If you have algae in the tank don't feed him real heavy or he will eat the easier food to get and leave your algae alone

Then personally I would only supplement his diet with veggies about every third day as long as there is algae in the tank.

I usually put mine in at lights out and remove it the next morning. If you cut it cross ways(sliced) cut through the peel so when he eats the inside(mine eat peel too) he doesn't get hung and wear the peel for a necklace. I usually slice mine long ways for just that reason. If you have problems getting it to stay on the bottom shove a spoon handle in it , the spoon bowl will weight it down.
