Stocking question

I have a ten gallon tank with two mollys and a small fry...what other fish would you recommend? I was thinking about getting two or three more. I have four live plants with a sand substrate.

I like the rock formation you have in your tank.

Mollys can grow to about 3-4" and it's recommended they be kept in a 20g tank.
If you were to add anything, you could probably get away with 1 more molly.

If you have a male and a female molly you might not want to add anymore fish because you will probably end up with a ton of babies. Even if you have two females, they are often pregnant at the time of purchase and can continue to release fry for months. My girlfriend and I had to get another tank just to raise all the fry we have and now our fry tank is getting to be overstocked. Soooooo many baby fishes! Just a friendly warning

Those don't look like mollies to me... they look like platys. If they are platys then get a few more, if they are mollies... get platys.

Yep, I didn't look at the picture very closely but those look very much like platys to me. They shouldn't grow as big as mollies can but they will still release fry just as often. Nice looking tank by the way!

If your fish are male and female over time your tank will stock itself, another quick tip is that mollies like AS (aquarium salt) in their water. they are kind of slightly brackish fish.

whoops! I think everyone's right those are reg wag platys, they will also breed like there's no tomorrow! even if you do separate them the females can store sperm for up to 1 month (don't quote me on that!) -fishlover78
