At Last!

0 ammonia, 0 Nitrites! My tank is cycled!!

I took almost 2 months (started Sep 23'rd), but it's finally done. Thanks for all the advice everyone

I've decided that I'm going to have 3 panda corys (only one of the ones I had made it ). What do you guys think would go well with them? It's a 15 Gal

Thanks again

It not only the ammonia and nitrites that matter, there's nitrates too. if you've been cycling since september, I'd guess the tank is cycled, but if your tank is truly cycled you'd have 0 ammonia, 0 nitrates, and low nitrites. I'd add a school of 5 cardinal tetras, for some color and movement in the tank. There's not much you can do with a 15 gallon.

Correction: 0 ammonia, 0 nitrites and some number in nitrates. (Everyone writes nitrites and nitrates backwards sometimes. ) The nitrates don't need to be low to be cycled, but they do need to be low for the health of the fish.

Congrats on finishing cycling, especially with out fish It's a good feeling isn't it?

Like MeGustaUnaPez926 said, if you're showing some nitrates, you're good to go.

SDS, I mix the I and A up sometimes too. If I find myself doing it a lot, I capitalize the I and A so it forces me to think about what I'm typing.

Awesome! You're doing good.
Cardinal tetras are a good choice. A few guppy males would also work.

Yep, sounds good. We'd love some pics when you get stocked.

Yup, cardinal tetras, maybe a honey or dwarf gourami... Correct me if I'm wrong would one german/bolivian ram work?
