I'll be getting a figure 8 myself in the next few months here. I think they're adorable, and so unique. They look alot like the GSP but are smaller and have a different pattern on them. Very cute.

It is nice to see there are still non chain store LFS around here..maybe you should put one in Dozey..=-)..Get out of the car business and into the fish business..
no offense to anyone, but you really don't want a petsmart, at least the one I used to go to. the employees don't know poo about any of the animals there, the tanks are disgusting, they are deceiving, especially on the subject of stocking an aquarium! I NEVER go to petsmart. I have purposely went into petco playing dumb. and I was with my sister when she got her aquarium. the guy explained the whole fish less cycling process, and sold us everything that I would purchase for my tank. and when we went back for fish (Ipersonally don't get fish there) he was there again! he was VERY honest about what she could and couldn't have and the tanks where pristine clean! I was impressed. I still shop for fish and most supplies at my friend's nice, small local pet shop. and all the fish come from local breeders! I occasionally shop for equipment and supplies at petco but I get good prices on fish at the pet shop, so I buy fish there. compared to the one I have no, you really don't want a petsmart. there bottom line is money. my friend worked at petco. and we had a talk about the strict rules and treatment of the animals and customers. If you really wanted a chain store, it would be petco. just in my opinion though. -fishlover78

I understand what your saying...I would like it just for the material part not the livestock part...Meds, plants, tanks, filters.

Ok guys..about this fishstore..There fish were VERY well taken care of..The tanks were understocked if anything...The guy there was very knowledgable..and I got a HUGE pile of Java Moss for 3.00....Didn't buy any fish there though..I think they are having a hard time with buisness...3/4 of there tanks were empty and the majority was saltwater..but other then that..I was impressed..with the tanks and care of the fish...

Then I went back to Sea Dreams...AWESOME place.. I don't agree with their websites instructions for cycling..(with fish)..but there website hasn't been updated in 6 years or so...lol..They give great advice, while I was in the freshwater section 2 adult women were cleaning every tank..Vacuming gravel, rinsing off decor cleaning algae off glass cleaning fronts of glass..I was super impressed...I saw not 1 dead fish..They answered all my trick questions and were on top of their game..Also..I about died when I saw a tank that said...NOT FOR SALE UNDER OBSERVATION...what?..a fish store that won't sell a sick fish..The same was going on in saltwater..two men were in there just scrubbing away..feeding fish spending time with them..I was blown away..That is definatly my forever LFS...I did ask the best way to cycle a tank and she told me ammonia..So I'm sold...

On a different note..I went into Petsmart...I will not be going back EVER for fish..I did complain to the manager..Which..I'm not a complainer..I just don't like to put myself out there..but it was so horrid that I had to say something..There was 5 dead fish in each tank and a dozen betta's dead..What the heck...I was very nice and just informed the manager about the fish and she said "OK" in a not so nice way and walked off... I don't get it??
