which fishes??????????????????

Good evening fellow fish folk.

I think I am about a week away from fully cycling. Now i am just looking for ideas on which fish to go for.

I know i really want a bn pleco and 2 dwarf gouramis (do i get a male and female?).

I am open to suggestions on the rest.

Please help me

im setting up my tank too (55 gallon) and still figuren out what fish to put in mine.

depending on how big your tank, is what you should decide on.
i think ive finally came to the conclusion of getting jeweled cichlids (not aggressive)
and are a great show fish. to go with corys and clown loach's.

I think it's really up to you, but, if I were you I would start a tropical fish tank. Tropical fish are some of the easiest fish to care for. A dwarf gourami would be good. They are placid, and good natured.
If you want to breed the gourami's you could get a male and female, but since I don't have much experience with breeding gourami's, I wouldn't know what to say. I would get 2 females though, if you are getting a couple, only because males could show aggresion to each other in the future!
I really like zebra danios, and tetras, like neon tetras. These are both schooling fish though, so you would have to get 6 or more for them to really thrive.
It is entirely up to you though, everybody has different preferences! Go to the LFS, and look at fish that catch your eye, and research about them! Feel free to ask any questions!
