Two more tanks

I got two more tanks today. ..A lady was getting rid of them for FREE so I went and picked them up..1 is a 16 gallon long, Which I had a hood for from the fish rescue I did with the 20gallon then broke it.lol..I new that hood would come in handy. I also got a 10 gallon..It has a hood but no light. I'm thinking about making the 10gallon my hospital tank. I have NO idea what I"m going to put in the 16..lol..OH yeah I also got a free stand today for a 10 gallon. I guess I'll be cycling some more tanks.

Wow, you are so lucky! Where do you find so much free stuff?!

I know what you'll be doing! Figuring out what you want to keep in the tanks is fun! Can't wait to see your choices. I am still jealous over your angelfish!

Ah the power of MTS, I've forbidden myself till after christmas... but there are a coupe ten gals up on kijiji....

I'd put a paradise fish in the 16 gal, but I've got a secret longing for one of those so that's why I'm suggesting it

Freecycle ..Its a yahoo group. You ought to try it out PFP. I bet you have one for your community.

Freecycle rocks, though aquarium stuff usually doesn't last long on it (at least, it doesn't in either of my local communities). I haven't ever gotten anything from it, but it's sure been helpful in getting rid of stuff that I don't need anymore.

If I had space for a 16 gallon, I'd probably make it a planted invert tank.

MTS is horriable around here. =-). We went to petsmart after we got the tanks and I stopped to look at the Bettas..5 gallons were on sale..35.00..I nearly bought one. I know it's not good to stick them in the tank without cycling it but it has got to be better then that cup. But my husband polietly reminded me that I now have 5 tanks..lol..One of these days when he's not with me I will be buying one..

I agree. You know that cup isn't cycled, and at least in an un cycled tank with you the little guy would get the water changed.

Freecycle does rock. . I love it. I've been getting rid of lots..and getting lots too..I didn't get it but a lady just gave away a 6 person hot tub. ..Wish I would have caught that one.
