Is this your pic or a pic that looks like your fish?

That's pretty weird. Just before logging onto FishLore I checked my email. I had recieved an email from my LFS and it had the exact same photo advertising that fish for sale. In the email it claimed that it was a Furcata Rainbow above the photo in bold letters, then in small letters under the photo it said Forktail Rainbow.
(BTW advertised price was $3.49 each)

Well, I am no fish expert. But I am getting my fish for my new ten gallon tank. Why do you ask? Is it because you want to be prepared if you have fry? Just curious.

When I looked up what you thought it was I found several pics that look like that fish..SO I would say that is exactly what it is a Forktail Blue-Eye Rainbow. It's a very pretty fish.

Im just puzzled as to why there is very little info on them online. When I bought them I was told by my LFS(I think that's how you guys do it) that they ONLY sell them in pairs. The two I have were $12/both
