So I have a dilemma on my hands. I'm still in the process of stocking my 55 gal tank, and my very newly cycled 29 gal is coming in quite handy for the fish that my dwarf gourami decides he doesn't like (what he says goes in the 55, the poor guy has been through a
nitrogen cycle, he deserves the big tank). Edward already kicked a flame gourami into the smaller tank, and is on his way with one of the swordtails. My issue is that the flame gourami is mostly orange, and the swordtail that Edward has decided not to like is also orange. Silly me, I put orange gravel in the 29 gallon before I realized Edward was going to be throwing temper tantrums.
I've read the thread about changing gravel on here, and I'll definitely use pantyhose to help seed the new gravel, but I'm not sure if I should go ahead and change it before the tank gets too "established" or if I should put up with the bad aesthetics for a few weeks and then switch it out

. Any opinions?
