One of my mollies is sick right now, so I've been giving that tank vita-chem and frequent water changes. I learned today that we have a jar of minced garlic, so I decided to add a few drops of garlic juice. Silly me, I thought I could just tilt the jar over the tank and a few drops would plop in. There, done!
But no! A big chunk of minced garlic falls into the tank. I panicked, ran upstairs to get the buckets and vacuum, and vacuumed all the garlic up. It was propably a 25%
water change. I replaced the water afterwards with some stress coat.
My question is: Can fish die from a garlic overdose, and are my fish in danger? If so, what should I do?
