If anyone caught the mess my daughter did to the fish this morning, I got the fish swiched and back in there own tank. I guess time will tell how well they do. Thank you so much for all your help again Shawnie.

Well 24 hrs + since the mess and no fishies seem any worse for wear. Now when sould I start checking for the ammonia and nitrates? Shoukd I check themtonight?

Also the Little has been very sorry and now she is kissing the fish tank trying to make the fish better. I think she made learned a lesson.

you wont see nitrates for awile...you will see ammonia first..then when you do, the daily water changes with prime will have to start, and continue until the cycle is done....

Ok I have been checking the water every couple of days and I am finally having a raise in my nitrates, but the ammonia level is still at zero. So do I start the water chages now? The fish seem to be fine and all is well other 6than that.
