Can you put redtailed sharks with african malawis? As fancy something different and have done some research and found these have or are able to adapt to higher pH and hard water and are also semi/aggressive. Anybody any suggestions?

They are not compatable. Not only that when you put a fish into conditions that they are not supose to be in you are hindering their immune system, causing them to be more likely to get sick. Going up to high on the ph and hardness they will not thrive in that water.

Not only that malawi cichlids aggressiveness vs the red tail shark isn't quite the same. The malawi cichlids are very aggressive vs the red tail shark, they would kill them.
