60 Litre Stocking

Just started to cycle my tank and was wondering if these fish would go together...
  • 5 Male Guppies
  • A school of Tetras (neon/Cardinals) not sure yet
  • A betta (with plenty of hiding space)
  • 3 otos/corys
  • 3 Cherry fire Shrimp
Thanks for all the help, you guys are great.

That would overstock your tank.

If you want a betta, please consider getting him his own tank. the neons would likely find his fins hard to resist and a lot of bettas won't tolerate tank mates. He would probably eat the shrimp.

A school of neons/cardinals and the ottos or cories should do fine as well as the shrimp.

I would never keep a betta with guppies. The guppies have long, colorful fins, so the betta will see them as rivals and fight with them. It would end in injury or death. If you skip either the betta or the guppies, though, it looks good to me. Hopefully someone more experienced can advise you.

Edit: Haha, it looks like Lucy got there first. You should listen to her, she gives great advice
