Most all flake foods have generaly the same ingredients, just different labels. Differences are usually in the protein contents and fat contents. Have you tried floating pellets for your Gourami yet? Also, Omega One and New Life Spectrum have some great products for fish food. How new is your Gourami? Can he/she just be acclimating to a new tank? Is this something new or ongoing? Was there some reason why you bought goldfish flakes for your Gourami?
They should like the bloodworms. I would buy the frozen cubes of bloodworms, thaw it in a bowl with a small amount of tank water and feed him a few and see how he does. The freeze dried bloodworms never went over well with my fish, but others have had success with them.
