Fish Compatibility

Hi everyone.
I'm a total newbie in terms of fishes and aquariums (about a month old) so I was wondering which fish should I add. I have a Texas Cichlid, a red tail shark and a snow white Cichlid.
The Texas keeps chasing the shark whenever he sees it!! I've attached pictures of texas and the shark...I couldn't take a clear photograph of the Snow White Cichlid.
I have a 54 liter tank (around 15 gal), with an internal filter and a water heater. Which other fish can I add? I was thinking of adding a male betta or some sword tails. Will they be compatible? Please help!!
And also can you please comment on the tank setup?
Thanks.

Hi, before you add anymore fish, it would be a good idea to figure out why you've had 5 fish die. It's terrible for you and I'd hate for you have have to suffer anymore losses.
It would be a good idea to read the links provided your other thread.
Hi all...
Are you testing your water? If so, what are the readings?

A betta is not compatible with your fish. Most bettas will not tolerate tank mates and may be a victim or aggressor until someone gets hurt or killed.

Good luck

You can't keep any of the fish you have in 15 gallons.

Texas Cichlids grow to about one foot in length, are highly aggressive and needs at minimum 55 gallons just for that one fish.

If you want to stay with 15 gals, I suggest you take these fish back to the petstore asap and start over with fish suitable for a tank that size.

Asking here before you start is a good way to get a compatible tank!

Yup what Barbrella says is true. 15g is much too small for most cichlids, a single dwarf type would be ok with a few 1.5" tetra or ottos or 1, 4" pleco like a bristle nose or clown pleco.

Thanks again guys. I'll stick with the 15g tank but exchange the existing fishes for some smaller fishes. I think I'll get like a Betta and some tetras. Can I house an Angel fish with a Betta?

As said above, most bettas don't play well with others. They might tolerate cories or ottos.
Here some info about betta care:

Welcome and Betta Care Guide - Please Read First!!!

I don't think 15g is large enough for an angel.
You could get a betta and try a little school of cories.
Tetras can be fin nippers and the beautiful fins of a betta would be hard for them to resist.
