Missing Kenyi female

I just can't believe my eyes. I can't find my long-battled still-in-recovery but going-well-enough to grant her release from the hospital tank female Kenyi. I took a pic a few minutes ago, and she was there! I can't find her anywhere. I'm about to tear down my tank. I'm really confused here...

I rule out that she was eaten by bigger fish (Oscars being the obvious suspects) since there are, as for today, three smaller female juveniles right next to them, and they grew from 4-5" to 8-9" getting along quite well with Kenyi in the tank. Indeed the 3+" male bullies these huge fish at will. My Kenyi fear no-one but other Kenyi.

Hope she appears but I never missed a fish for so long (50 minutes) I have looked all over around the tank, kind of expecting the worst, but no, she's not out there.

I hope she's okay, Pepe. We had a big scare with our clown loach once. He'd been missing for a long time and I was ready to tear the tank apart. We were convinced he'd been a Frontosa or an Asian Giant Upside-Down catfish snack, but we found him hiding in an obscure little nook. I hope your girl turns up soon!

Oh no! I hope you find her.

I thought I had lost a Cherry Barb once when I had been looking for her for a couple of hours in the tank. I was just about to stick my hand in there to look for her remains, when she squeezed out from underneath my Colosseum decoration. Up until then, I hadn't thought any fish could get underneath there. It really is a teeny tiny crack to squeeze through... hardly visible. I haven't seen any other fish doing or attempting to do it since then.

She should have been kept with species of her own kind. Oscars are not compatible with Malawi mbuna, which are a Malawi species only tank.

This is a rule of thumb I know I'm breaking. Truth be I brought this fish home believing they were jade-eyed cichlids; ever since I've been buying time to move them to my office-based 55gal. Monday morning I will be setting this tank since I worked till late today. The 55gal is at one store, the stand at another, and I will need help to move and set the whole thing.

Thank you

PS I will be redoing some aquascaping in that tank tomorrow... little hopes in finding her though.
