For the past couple of weeks (about 2) I have started to see string-like/algea-like stuff form on my fish, some of them are clean, but for the most part fish have algea-like things stuck to their fins and even their body. I've treated my aquarium with salt before and it stressed my tiger barbs, i tried tested for
pH and Nitratre...etc levels and they are all fine, the temperature is 79-80F and every couple of days I find my fish struggling to live, they float upside down and sort of slowly move, their fins sort of stop moving, and they just paddle around with their back fin... I've lost about 4 fish
Are their fins rotting or something? What should I do? How can I treat it?
My Australian Rainbows have this furry thing all over their body but they are completly normal, and I havent noticed anything funny with them... besides the fact they look like they have garbage all over them.
