Parasites

Ewww, so the other day I looked in my tiny 2.5 gallon tank and found these tiny white worms everywhere. There had to be a couple hundred, gross. The tank has been established for about 3 months now, and it contained a beautiful Pink Female betta (I know its a small tank, at least its bigger then a cup). Basically I removed my betta and nuked the tank with a High concentration of Hydrochloric acid, worms where dissolved within minutes.

My reason for posting is to obtain information on the worms that were found in the tank, and how to avoid them in the future.

Any information would be awsome

Most likely they are planarian worms. They usually come about when you've over feed or there is to much debris in the tank. heres a link : http://www.aquariumfish.net/informat...trouble_p2.htm
