New Tank Maybe?

So i might be getting a 29 gallon or 39 gallon tank in a few weeks and is thinking of making it an aggressive tank or a community. i would like to do cichlids but im not sure if i would be able to.i would really like some blood parrots (they look awesome). or fill it with a bunch of tiger barbs with some panda cory cats. and some rock decor. with sand substrate. would like some feedback

I have always wanted a tank full of just tiger barbs. I think that would be the coolest tank to have, a mix of regulars, albinos, and green ones. It would be so cool to just sit and watch them for hours chase each other the way they do.

I think blood parrots and most cichlids (not the dwarf ones) get to big for a 29 or 39 gallon tank, but someone can correct me if I'm wrong.

Sorry, I know close to nothing about Blood Parrots. If you really want to make it a aggresive tank, then Convicts would be a good choice. I'm sorry, I don't know much about African cichlids. And even Amercian cichilds aren't that familiar.

Puffers are so much fun to watch, and are more "pet like" than any fish I know. I highly recommend them.

If you want a community tank, then fish like Cories, smaller schooling fish (eg. Neon Tetras, Cherry barbs, etc.), Kuhli Loaches, Killifish, and maybe even an Angelfish would be good choices.

You weren't very specific, so I can't give you much advice on what to put in there. Could you give us a little more information on what you're looking at?

Blood parrots can get up to 10 inches. You need at least a 55 gallon tank to house one of them. I would go with the cories and tiger barbs. That sounds like a very cool tank
