Just a question.

I know Seachem's Prime contains some sulphuric compounds and therefore smells kind of bad. API's ChlorXChange smells kind of neutral to me. I don't recall bad smells from API's Stress-Coat (ran out of it).

Tetra AquaSafe, on the other hand, really smells bad... or is it just me? do I have a damaged product or batch? All my bottles of AquaSafe stink!

I do have a sensitive nose, and I still drink, from time to time, unwillingly, some sips from tank's water during maintenance. No bother with the 1-2-3 video, I use that method most of the times, but some habits die hard and at least one of the tanks I keep doesn't have room enough to do the trick.

Hi I am not sure of that product but a lot of them have an unusual smell.You know what i do i use none of these chems i use an inline high quality water filter designed for human consumption and they last for three years.it is fitted to a hose and tap to refill slowly water has had chems and heavy metals removed.been doing it this way for ages and had no problems

Yes it does so very well, and heavy metals too.

pepe I never noticed it smelled bad. But i don't have the bottle I have a sample pack.
