2 out of my 3 tanks

are cycled. The third and most heavily stocked still is not with readings as followed.
ammonia 2
nitrite .5
nitrate 10

I'm not sure why this tank is taking forever to cycle I have had it for at least 3 months I think and have even used Tetra safe start. Do you think because the bio load is so great it is taking longer or do you think the safe start is messing with my readings? I did a 75% water change last night and my readings are exactly the same. Also an FYI I put a stealth heater in and they have been much more active since doing that. The tank is at 79-80. Is that too high for Tetras?

Thanks again for all your patience

Is this your 5g tank?
If you did a 75% water change last night, it should have at least cut your numbers by 3/4.
You might be right about the bio-load.
I don't have any experience with Tetra SafeStart to comment on it's effects on your readings.

The temp seems a little on the high side.

Thanks so much Lucy! I will lower the temp. Yeah it was weird the readings were the same. Yes this is my 5 gallon. I will check again today and do a water change again.
