Guppy Babys

I have lots of male guppys and two female guppys and was wandering how to breed them

First of all, separate the guppies, only allowing one male (the one with the prettiest pattern, if you want) to have access to the two females. If there's more than one male per two females, the females are likely to be extremely stressed.

Second of all, let nature take its course (this is the easy part, as guppies are like rabbits).

If you want to maximize the number of fry, you may want to get a breeder net. When the female is really pregnant (on the bottom of the tank, not moving much), move her to the net, then take her out after she's dropped the fry.

How long do guppies need to be separated to mate?

The ratio of male to female that SDS gave you is so the females don't get harassed and overly stressed from too many males wanting to mate.
For the health of your fish, that's how it's recommended you keep them.

Thank you for the clarification. I apologize that I wasn't clear there.
If kept in a larger male/female ratio than 1:2, you risk losing your females to stress and physical exhaustion, which isn't a good thing for a breeder.

A better way to sex them would be this: female's anal fins are triangulare and 'fin' shaped. Males are long an tubular, and called a gonopludium.

I don't think there is any question about which are which gender (guppies are ridiculously easy to sex). We're talking about ratio and its impact on their health.
